High Tech Construction awarded half-million dollar new homes project in Providence.

Central Falls, RI - High Tech Construction, Inc., a leading prime Rhode Island general contracting company, continues to grow its multi-million dollar project portfolio with the announcement of a $650,000 award from AIDS Care Ocean State to build more homes for the organization's clients. Joe Dalomba, company president, said his crew completed the foundation at 112-116 Pleasant St. in Providence in late December, and he expects the project to move forward in the next two weeks, weather permitting.

This latest project adds to the multi-million dollar business growth High Tech Construction Inc. has experienced over the last several years. Other recent projects include million dollar homes in Smithfield, a $3.8M industrial project in Pawtucket/Lincoln (Storage America, Inc.), a recently completed $650,000 renovation project to a public safety building in South Kingstown (Snug Harbor Volunteer Fire Station) and a $1.6M new construction project - Blackstone III - on the City's South End. According to AIDS Care Ocean State President and CEO, Paul Fitzgerald, the project
will include two, side-by-side, 2,500 sq. ft. buildings. Once completed, each building will include one family unit with two bedrooms, and two units with one bedroom each.

"We are very excited about working with Joe and High Tech Construction," said Fitzgerald. "Our goal is to design and build homes that fit into the neighborhood from a
historical perspective and at the same time fulfill the critical needs of our clients to become part of the fabric of the local environment. Joe's background in historical preservation and renovation work and the great work he's doing on the South Side in Providence was important to our decision for the awarding of this contract."

"We are delighted to have been selected for this project," said Dalomba. "As it unfolds, we will support the needs of the AIDS Care Ocean State project team to complete
the project with the highest standards of excellence and quality workmanship, while providing expert strategy planning along the way." High Tech Construction is the largest Rhode Island-based certified minority General
Contractor in the Ocean State and the recipient of a 1998, U.S. Small Business Administration minority small-business person of the year award.
